Backstory

Younger brother of the Jedi Master Vincent Pinion, he had an unremarkable childhood growing up happy and not wanting for much. After puberty he began to show signs of attunement with the Force. Not wanting him to fall to the Dark Side, his parents gave him basic Force training.

Once his force training began, Racken studied books on Jedi Lore, Lightsaber combat and construction especially crystals. When it came time to begin training in Lightsaber, his parents decided to given him training in Jedi Martials. After this training was complete and Lightsaber training was going to begin, his parents decided to move out of his childhood house. Racken thought this was odd and when he asked they about why they were moving so suddenly, they abruptly answered "We want to relax, travel and go on a long vacation. Go find your brother and have him teach you how to use a Lightsaber."

His parents asked for help moving from the local Jedi community. Racken was amazed at how quickly a group of Force users could empty a house. His parents gave him some credits, an R2 Astromech droid, a blaster and some clothes. They then boarded a luxury yacht and left without telling Racken where they were going.

Before leaving home Racken took a book on Jedi Lore and a book on Lightsaber crystals and construction. Then using R2 for his Astrogation capabilities, Racken managed to find passage to Jadaarn to meet up with his brother.
